Before I started taking cuttings, I noticed that some newspapers in the UK have been promoting the view that cannabis is an evil that has to be stamped out of today's society.
Before this article there was one in the Metro describing how some people smoked 30 joints a day (think about it...!?) and another saying that 80,000 cannabis-related arrests were made in 2004.
Don't get me wrong, we all know about cannabis and short-term memory loss, but is it really such a danger? How many stoners start fights or beat up their wives? Alcohol is much worse in terms of being a danger to society. How may drink-drive offences were committed in the UK in 2004? How many alcohol-related incidents? And how many calls to get rid of alcohol?
Let's have some balance, please.
